Since 1996, Aubrey Gladstone has served as president of Gladstone Consulting, Inc., in Boca Raton, Florida. Also a pilot, Aubrey Gladstone belongs to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), which organizes several fly-ins every year, including one in Tampa, Florida.
Scheduled for October 27-28, 2017, the AOPA Tampa Fly-In will take place at the Peter O. Knight Airport on Davis Islands. The event will feature a number of hands-on workshops on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by an exhibit and a feature called AOPA Village, where AOPA staff will showcase products and services and provide information on training opportunities and ways to save on insurance. The opening night will end with a Barnstormers Party sponsored by Jeppesen.
On Saturday, participants can attend several free seminars and visit the event’s aircraft display, followed by a Pilot Town Hall with the AOPA’s president and CEO Mark Baker. The Tampa Fly-In will close with an ice cream social at 2:45 p.m. prior to fly-out.
