Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Coming to Lunt-Fontanne Theatre


Aubrey Gladstone serves as president of Gladstone Consulting, Inc., which has managed more than $100 million in business workouts. In his free time, Aubrey Gladstone and Marianne Gladstone enjoy Broadway musicals and maintains a close friendship with actor Christian Borle, who will soon star in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. 

The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre will host previews of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory beginning March 28 before the official opening on April 23. The premiere will be directed by Jack O’Brien, winner of three Tony Awards. Borle, who won Tony Awards for his performances in Something Rotten and Peter and the Starcatcher, will star as Willy Wonka. 

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will feature music written by Marc Shaiman, who has won Emmy, Grammy, and Tony awards, and lyrics by both Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Joshua Bergasse, an Emmy Award winner and a Tony Award nominee, will provide the choreography.
